MessageThe AAS begs the indulgence of the other parties.

While the AAS believed they had submitted a full proposal in the Convocation (iv) Bill, it appears that our 'proposal' somehow didn't 'stick'.

Thus - in effect - we submitted a Resolution, and not an actual 'Bill'.

The AAS is, understandably, both saddened and frustrated.... as this was the first time we managed to muster the relevent number of votes.

So... on bended knee, and with a sense of incredible chagrin, the AAS leader, Arkham Konstantinos, comes once again, cap in hand, on bended knee, to beg the indulgence of his Likatonian allies.

Please, allow us to place a stamp of authentication on the 'history' of Likatonia... we beg you to, once again, support this policy.

MessageThe AAS most HEARTILY thanks the RLP for their support, this time. We had earnestly hoped that the RLP would get the chance to support, on the last run.

In a way, that makes our party somewhat happier that our last 'Bill' turned out to be a mere 'Resolution'.

Thanks also to the Progressive Party and the CdH. It is appreciated.

It is gratifiying to see party-politics being swept aside, when the will of the people has been heard.

MessageAnd - looking at the numbers, with the fulfillment of the remainder of the 'term' of this vote, Likatonia will be able to proudly claim to have a "Convocation" or Party Representatives.

Does anyone have preferences for what we should call our officials? It makes no change to the Bill, or the legislation... and many of us have used interchangable names even while we had a 'Senate'. It is just a question of 'flavour'.

The AAS currently favours the (neutral) term 'Representatives', or the term 'Advocates', to fit in with our "First Advocate" title.

(But, as stated... this is just flavour).

MessageSo - the only question remaining is... will The Strength Party vote against this bill again... or will they accept that it is 'the will of the people', and make it unanimous?

MessageNice to see so many pretty colours.. er .. parties... all lined up in row.
If it doesn't stick this time, I suggest we speak to the mods.
We reinforce the AAS comments about overlooking party politics, this is a great effort to those who supported.

MessageOOC Response to the PSS: I suspect it was probably something as simple as one of those little glitches (you know, the ones that make you post the same thing like three times. Maybe I refreshed my page at the wrong time, or something. But - if we get 'no joy' this time, I'll post this result on the Forum, and see if I can't get the change 'moderated' in.

As I said above - I'ma ctually kind of glad it didn't 'count' last time, because it means we got this much more unanimous and representative vote this time.
