Bill: Government Salary Adjustment Mandate of 3852
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist/Block Party Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3853
Description[?]:
The point of representation in government is for the people in government to represent everyday, working people. By only paying our politicians a small salary, we restrict who can financially justify being in our government. So the result is a disproportionate amount of politicians who are rich and don't care about the salary because they don't need the money. We see this mandate as an opportunity to balance the demographics of those working in government so it better represents our citizens. |
