| ARTICLE 1: Corporation tax will be reduced by 16% in order to attract more businesses into the country and to enable them to make more money which can be in job creation. ARTICLE 2: Luxury goods tax will be reduced by 5% in order to help the middle-classes, as well as making luxury goods more affordable for working-class families. ARTICLE 3: Essential goods tax will be raised by 10% in order to compensate for tax reductions in other areas, particularly for the income tax cut for low-income workers. This proposal has been recommended by the Minister of Finance, Aya Tsukino, and her department. |
