Voting deadline: December 3858
Description[?]:
As many of you might have received in a message from Saridan's Populist Party, they are possibly being attacked by a Fascist regime in Lourenne. We, as an International power, should give a singular response to this crisis, to help our brothers in Saridan return to peace and eventually normality. What are your thoughts on our international response? |

Message | We would advocate for a denouncement of Lourenne's regime and engage the two in peace talks to prevent a crisis. We might use sanctions as a last resort. We strongly feel this is not a place for us to act as the world's policeman and send our reserve troops, but that it is a chance for us to show peace in the face of terror. |

Message | "Solentia has a long and proud tradition as an isolationist, neutral power. We represent balance for our Majatran neighbours. It is important that we continue to protect and nurture this reputation and image which, after all, is so excellent a diplomatic tool. We urge the Government to continue this ancient and proven track record; say our piece but do so calmly, rationally and with balance; avoid intervention and avert unnecessary meddling in our own affairs from foreign non-Majatran powers. We also note that the Unionists, according to statute, hold the Ambassadorship to Lourenne. We would be most ready an willing to follow the Governments instructions and pursue whatever course they wish to employ." Cecylia Goldsea-Vincenti, Unionist leader |

Message | "We would advocate that we begin, immediately, engaging both sides in diplomatic relations and negotiations in an attempt to foster a peaceful resolution to this. It has been well established that our party, the Green Party, is an advocate for peace and against that of military intervention. Such a reputation has also been established by the Block Party Party. Might we suggest sending a Solentian delegation to both parties involved to begin negotiation and being working towards normalizing relations between the two and forging a peaceful solution? We believe that is the best way to handle this situation." -Caroline Lucus, President of Solentia |

Message | We definitely agree with the Green Party's suggestion. By sending two Solentian delegations to Lourenne and Saridan, we can encourage peace talks and work with both nations in order to return back to peace. We also believe that if we are unsuccessful and the talks escalate, then we will withdrawal and avoid intervention and meddling in their affairs. This solution seems to satisfy both suggestions and will be the suggestion that we endorse to solve the Lourenne-Saridan crisis, |

Message | "We remind the Senate that the following statute is still in effect; http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=408838. We urge the Senate to respect this or to pass a new set of Ambassadorial Appointments dividing the posts amongst all existing parties." Cecylia Goldsea-Vincenti, Unionist leader |

Message | "Considering that all of those ambassadors have long since died in the few hundred years that have passed since their appointment we too would urge that we appoint new ambassadors. We would, however, offer the following proposal to this problem. Since my role in government is that of the head of state I would like to volunteer myself as a part of the delegation for this and suggest also that the Minster of Foreign Affairs serve on this delegation as well." -Caroline Lucus, President of Solentia |

Message | "We'd like to thank Senator Goldsea-Vincenti for bringing up the antiquated legislature. We should, instead, pass a new proposal to overturn the old provisions in favor of ones that fit our government today. We also agree with Minister Bing that we won't advocate for any military in this conflict. President Lucus, your deisre to be on the committee has been noted. We will proceed to create a bill that is satisfactory to all nations wishing to participate in the delegation. It will sit in debate so adequate changes can be made to form a delegation that works for everyone, so we can show solidarity when participating in international affairs." -Jean-Ralphio Colbert, Prime Minister of Solentia |
