| Here at Choice, we propose adjusting the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Holy Luthori Empire. The head of government has FAR too much spending currently, nowhere near that ridiculous amount is needed to fund the head of government, and as a result we have made gigantic cuts to that in order to better service the people of Luthori. Foreign affairs has also received large cuts because our attention and funding should be towards the people of Luthori as opposed to the rest of the ungrateful world. Health & Social Services are currently criminally underfunded, if anything it should be one of the highest funded ministries as opposed to lowest, health and social services are very important and should receive the very best funding. The same goes for education, our schools are far too underfunded and our children's futures deserve much more attention, we MUST fund our schools. Science & Technology should also receive some cuts due to it not being essential to the people of Luthori, however it is still important and thus we have made more moderate cuts. Environment & Tourism are currently also overfunded due to their lesser importance compared with essential ministries such as education and health and as such cuts have also been made there. All in all, the budget is actually higher than it was previously, however not by much and the more important services are being given more funding. |
