Voting deadline: June 3858

Description[?]:

Premier Minister Questions Act
This bill will provide a forum for the opposition parties to address questions to the Premier Ministre and/or other Ministers of State regarding government policy so that they can hold the government accountable. PMQs is a constitutional convention, and is governed by the following rules:

- The largest party in opposition may ask six questions every year. The second largest may ask three, and all other opposition parties may ask two.

- The parties in government may not ask their own questions, although they may ask questions in response to questions from the opposition.

- Questions may be asked to the Premier Ministre or any other Minister.

- All questions asked by the opposition must be responded to in some way.

- If a question is addressed to the Premier Ministre, the Premier Ministre may either answer it personally or may delegate that responsibility to another Minister.

- If a question is addressed to a Minister, that Minister must answer it.

- The opposition member who asked the question will be given an opportunity to respond to the government's answer. However, he will not be allowed to respond with more questions if the quota has already been met.

Message"Mr. Speaker,

Firstly I rise to welcome the honourable gentleman to his post. It is a credit to his skill and campaign that he finds himself the leader of the Government, the first from his Party to do such a job and I congratulate him on that achievement.

Mr. Speaker, the Universe Party did rather well in the last elections. They are the largest party in the legislature and they have the largest mandate to govern. Their agenda was popular with the public, that much is clear. Amongst pledges in that agenda, as outlined in their manifesto, they mention investment in technology, prioritising ecological development, higher education and welfare for everybody.

I wonder if the Prime Minister can outline for us how 2.5bn cuts in Defence, 2bn cuts in Transport and 2bn cuts in Justice will help them to attain those noble goals?"

Message"I can answer that question. It's obvious that when there is less government spending, everyone is happier. There will be lower taxes especially for the lower-middle class. They will have more money to spend and more freedom. My question is why do we have an internal affairs budget? We don't fund a police force, and I want to know what that money is used for. Also, I want to know how a classical liberal party (libertarian) can be for nuclear weapons and be opposed to sexual freedom. It seems the Lib dems are closer to fascism than classic liberalism."

Message"The Anarchists don't even know the law - Solentia currently funds a national police force while local governments fund local police forces. No policeman in Solentia should ever cast a ballot for the ignorant Anarchist Party, which doesn't even recognize their existence."

Margerita Nani, CPS Shadow Minister for Internal Affairs

OOC: Check the legislation page - "National Police Department Currently: There is a national police department funded by the national government and there are local police departments, funded by local governments." Not sure what you're talking about.

Message"We applaud the newly returned Conservative Party of Solentia for being educated on the law to a greater extent than the Anarchists Party and their newly elected Prime Minister. We would like to pose our own question to the Prime Minister, it concerns something you said in your answer to the Unionist Party question. You said that when there is less government spending, everyone is happier. I find that rather odd. Could you explain that to me. Does the prime minister mean to say that the very poor are happier when they cannot get food? When they have nowhere to go home to? When they do not have a roof over their head? Do you mean to say the sick are happier when they do not have access to healthcare? Do you mean to say that people are happier when they cannot get an education because they cannot afford it? Do you to say that elderly are happier when they do not have a pension plan? That people are happier when they do not have any form of police force to guarantee them safety. If so, if people are happier when their less government spending than why does your party not, as opposed to cutting funds for programs millions rely on, start by cutting your salary to nothing along with everyone of your ministers and senators?"

Message"We'd ask where is the prime minister? Has he even appeared in this body to make his opening statements? No. Has he appeared here to answer questions? No. Has he made himself available to the elected representation of the people? No. Order, you say? If you want order then we'd suggest you direct your call for order to the prime minister as he is the one that is out of order!"

MessageMr. Speaker,

To often has the issues of this government, has been on the side of full on anarchy, and Penny's influence upon this Prime Minster show how weak the Universe Party really is. Where is the Prime Minster, I sit here waiting for him to show up and nothing! I can not stand by and watch my country slip into anarchy. We have seen this time and time again with Penny's party. This is my second time in government with her. The Anarchist Party says like always we will comprise some issues like good coalition partners do and then never deliver. This step towards a governmentless society is something myself or the Liberal Democrats cannot stand beside. These moves not only will prevent a great economy but security as well. We have seen this in other nations, I was reluctant to take a stand because we wanted this government to work, and we see now that the Universe Party and it's leader are on the leash of Penny and her party. So today I resign as Deputy Prime Minster and I ask my party members to join me as I walk across this great house and join the opposition there is not enough room for us all but I can say this we will request elections after this session ends.

I Yield

MessageI will now take these questions one for one.

Thobias Hanssen: You asked how we will earn our goals with the current cuts, and, frankly, i don't see how these cuts hurt. The Justice cuts was maybe a bit rough, yes, transport we removed funding for busses and so on, and defence, well, defence has a waaaay to high budget, which we simply do NOT need. Also, these cuts are for science - and with science we can make all of these places that we cut money in better anyway, so we don't need that high budgets. I hope you understand.
