Bill: Abortions Act 3860
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 3861
Description[?]:
Currently, our government does not provide funding for abortions. However we believe that we have a duty to at least provide funding for abortions to the low-income population. Everyone deserves the ability to have an abortion, to prohibit unwanted children being born. If people on low-income cannot afford abortions, we believe it is our duty to provide funding for them. In the long run if we allow unwanted children to be born to low-income families, it will actually create a larger strain on the economy and our nation, since we will have more mouths to feed and more benefits to give out. |

Message | We agree with Choice on this matter, the low-income families are more likely to have more likely to have children despite the fact they are less able to care for them due to low incomes. If we allowed them to have abortions covered by the state, child poverty in Luthori could see a massive decrease if this bill was passed. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Funding abortions, even for those of low income, is a moral abomination. Life begins at conception, and funding this only incentives the deaths of more children. Thus we cannot support it. I yield |

Message | We believe it should be the mothers choice, and the Progress Party pointed out exactly why this bill should be passed. Enough of these stuffy over conservative views, it's a FACT that you're damaging the country. We need to deal in absolutes, not ideals. It's a fact the country will be much better off if this bill is passed. |
