Message | Mr. Speaker, I think the other opposition parties may be divided with the AKC on this issue: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=438451 However, I take note that Nethuss Moctos admits that his party is primarily supported by criminals, and I infer that it may also be supported by terrorists. -- Trevor Fertig, Chairman of the GNRG, Vice President of Lodamun |

Message | M. Speaker, The ECA only recently proposed a bill ensuring that only criminals released from prison will be able to vote. And it was passed comfortably. So understandably we will be opposing this bill. As we stated in the bill we proposed; If a person optionally chooses to commit a crime, they are branding themselves criminals. Criminals should not be allowed to vote. It's as simple as that. Why should the leaders of a democracy be partly chosen by those who would seek to ruin and harm those around them? A democracy does not function as a democracy when the troublemakers are making the decisions. Paula Howard Spokesperson for Justice Eastern-Central Alliance |
