MessageSandra Muralhas, minister of foreign affairs: I do not understand UDT's "no" vote. Is UDT a pro-slavery party? Does the opposition want our country to violate human rights? We remembered UDT as a structural and historical party in our democracy, and i'm deeply sad to see it is voting like a new Partido Imperial Esclavagista...

Message"We have already made clear that the UDT is an anti-slavery party. We opposed the PIE's efforts of introducing slavery to Tukarali, and Tukarali has already ratified the League of Anti-Slavery Nations and the Majatran Anti-Slavery Accord, both of which the UDT has supported and continues to support. Those two treaties make a third anti-slavery unnecessary. However, this treaty also includes a number of provisions which have nothing whatsoever to do with slavery. Our vote is a vote against those additional provisions, which should not be fixed in an international treaty."
