Bill: Balanced Budget Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Free Democratic Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3865
Description[?]:
The Anarchist Party of Solentia (APS) propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Solentia. This almost balances our budget. We need to cut our spending below 282 billion SOL, so this is a start. Right now it is illegal for government employees to be played anyways, so our prime minister budget needs to be zero. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
