Bill: Agricultural Debt Assistance (ADA)

Details

Submitted by[?]: The IzaƤkian League

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 3867

Description[?]:

Mr Spreker,

I think that it is necessary to ensure that farmers are relieved from debts. Farmers often suffer from debt, they needed to take loans to purchase lands, and they have not been able to payback these loans. In order to do this, we must allocate $1,000,000,000 more to our agricultural budget to create a fund to relieve indebted farmers. We will still be making a surplus, this will not put us in a deficit.

John Van Cope
PUAU Shadow Vice Kanselier

ADDED CLAUSE

Using the money from the Agricultural Budget, that has been added by this bill, a ADAA (Agricultural Debt Assistance Agency) will receive applications from indebted farmers. The agency will review the applications and provide financial assistance to this farmers to raise them from their debts.
