Bill: Arm our Armed Forces Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberale Volkspartei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3866

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

It is unbearable to see that our progressive government has banned all use of chemical weapons. How are we to retaliate in the event of an invasion? What if our enemies use chemical weapons? Are we going to stick to morals or are we going to defend our country when it is needed?!

The Liberals never support the use of chemical weapons unless it is used by our enemies or if we are attacked by great force. Defence of the nation is paramount in any situation.

MessageAlthough a firm supporter of the military my party cannot support this bill. Their is no need to use inhuman weapons in warfare, although it would be wise to increase our military budget and the development of conventional weaponry. But chemical weapons take us off the moral high ground.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
