Bill: Energy Provision
Details
Submitted by[?]: Post-Revolutionary Pragmatic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2170
Description[?]:
In order to build in the necessary redundancy, as well as making investments that are of national importance but commercially inviable, it is our feel that energy companies should be nationalised. Because of our nation's geography, as well as to ensure flexibility and self-sufficiency, we further propose that energy infrastructure (pylons and the like), should be handled by the regions. |

Message | We believe private energy companies fuel growth into renewable fuel as more and more incentives will come into play for 'green'technology. If power is nationaliosed any breakthrough in power sources will take time to filter down the system as government sectors will be unwilling to change the infratructure. Basically private power companies give competition which gives innovation. |

Message | Ah yes, but our system needs redundancy as well - which runs contrary to efficiency, by its very definition. I am confident a nationalised system will make the necessary investments in green technology if prompted to by laws and the overseeing Minister. |
