Description[?]:
OOC: At the moment the Cildanian script is based on the "hebrew script" and the Phoenician language http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=405815. Since the language have been dead in almost 2000 years I propose that we should introduce a simplified Cildanian Script, which is based on the "Hebrew script" and the Hebrew language. This will simplify the language and make it easier for all to roleplay etc. |

There is already an established Selucian minority in Cildania, with 5% of the population. You can't jump them from that percentage to being the dominant ethnicity in Cildania, at least not without major RP. |

In the meantime the most straightforward option is to use Hebrew words and amend them slightly, since Hebrew is the closest relative of Phoenician. |

My suggestion is we define Cildanian as a conlang, based on Phoenician and Punic but with most of its vocabulary based on modern Hebrew. |

I guess we can have a small amount of Draddwyr immigrants from Dankuk, fleeing the Kyo regime there, but I would not want to see more than a couple of percentages of them.
Also speaking of improving the Cultural Protocol, I think it would be a good idea to redefine the Department of Cildania as being based on the Maronite Church rather than the Syriac Orthodox Church, as there is now an equivalent of Arameans in Barmenia. The Maronites also follow the Antiochian/West Syrian rite, and they fit better on account of their presence in Lebanon and association with Phoenicianism in RL. |
