| The Republican People's Party proposes slight changes to the current election system, in order to better accommodate the differences in population. This would result in a truly proportional representation of all provinces in Mordusia. We are also proposing that the election campaigns of all political parties and candidates are allowed to receive both public and private funding, thus equaling out any possible negative advantages. We also consider that the allocation of funding from the budget of Mordusia would improve the political culture in Mordusia and encourage an active participation of the civic society. As for the last proposal, we think that the reference of 'Staat' is detached from the current linguistic traditions of Mordusia and therefor we propose to refer to all regions as 'Provinces', however, we are willing to consider other proposals too. |
