This bill establishes the MBN (Mordusian Brodcasting Network) The MBN will be responsible for providing vital information to all citizens in times of emergency. The content of the MBN in non-emergency times will be local, national, and world news. The Environment and Tourism Minister will be the Chief Executive of the MBN. The subsidized 'non-profit' cooperatives will have to survive without wasteful government subsidies or close their doors. |

Message | The duely elected Executive branch of the goverment will control the content. If the people don't like the content, they will show it in opinion polling and at the ballot box. The MBN will have a limited budget. They won't have time for propaganda and the content will have to be mostly factual and non-partisan. The goverment is here to serve the people. That is what this network will do. Its a common sense communications service. |
