Details
Submitted by[?]: United Democratic Action Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3878
Description[?]:
We, the UNLDP, believe that recycling should be mandatory in this country. By recycling everyday, we can assure that the country will be more greener. A No-Recycle tax will be set at $80. There will be recycling inspectors patrolling every neighbourhood, every enterprise and factories. We believe that killing animals is not a right thing, but it is for self defence, so we propose that people that kill animals should receive one week of anti killing animals lessons so that there will not be a lot of endangered animals. We also believe that there should be pollution restrictions so that the ozone layer will not be damaged further and the skies will be more clearer and not foggy and smoky all the time. We also believe that waste disposal should be regulated so that harmful chemicals and materials will not harm our ecosystem and make it a more environmental friendly place. We also believe that whaling should be illegal, since by killing whales, they will become endangered animals in the years to come. |

Message | Article 1. Ok... the regulations imposed "80 DAVs Non-Recycle Tax and 800 DAVs Recycle Payment" seems like WHAT! Basic maths shows that the incentive is very excessive. 99,682,899 People live in Davostan. If everyone recycled. That'll cost us: 79,746,319,200 DAVs You want to spend at most 79 Billion DAVs just so people be can be "bothered" to recycle. We support the No-Recycle Tax. But the Incentive is too much. Article 2. If a wild animal attacks a citizen. The citizen is forced to defend himself. If he doesn't the animal will kill him. If in the process of defending, the citizen kills that animal. Does the citizen get prosecuted? I agree an unjustified killing of an animal is wrong. But if its for self-defence, I see no reason why the citizen should be prosecuted. |

Message | Update to the Bill. Article 1. I continue to think that having any form of payment/incentive to those who recycle is a bad idea. The money should be used in promoting recycling and ecology instead of paying/bribing people to do it. What's the point of the effort if the only intent is the money? Based on the new calculations of 110 DAVs, 99,682,899 People live in Davostan. If everyone recycled. That'll cost us: 10'965'118'890 DAVs Article 2. 3, 4. We'd like to hear other parties voices on this issue. Article 5. We agree with you here. |

Message | Why is this too radical, PCP? Isn't the party conservative liberal, combining liberal values and policies with conservative stances? |

Message | For the moment, we're going to vote no on this bill. We understand the need for ecology etc. But I see no reason to use these methods at this time. |
