| Mr Spreker, Recent events are perfect inidcation of the dire need to equip the civilan police with better weapons. The Police simply cannot fight sub-machinegun equipped terrorists with civilan-grade pistols without suffering casualities. We suggest to equipe the police with military-grade equipment until the terrorist threat is over, which almost certainly won't happen any time soon. We have also proposed a clause in order to prevent excessive usage of these powerful weapons. Milan Tuinstra, Prokureur-Generaal (Attorney General) ---ADDED CLAUSE--- Military-Grade Equipment may only be used in case the criminals are equipped with firearms, standard civilan-grade firearms usage will be subjected to the same amount of regulation as the were in the past, except the additional law saying that non-lethal tasers should be used whenever possible. |
