Bill: Agriculture Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Delete This Party!!!
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2055
Description[?]:
I can't believe anyone supports collective farming! Do you know anything about history? It has failed in pretty much every nation in which it has been implemented (including Endralon!). Local Governments must have the power to decide on agricultural subsidies, as only they know what is best for their local economy. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government agricultural and farming subsidies policy.
Old value:: All agricultural operations are state-owned and operated.
Current: Agricultural crops which are considered beneficial to the enviroment or to the continued ecological safety of the state are subsidized.
Proposed: The government allows local governments to craft agricultural subsidy policy.

Message | Collective farming is working very well, thank you very much, and if you think it didn't work in Russia, you obviously haven't been paying attention to the state of that country over the past 15 years and how far it has fallen since the destruction of the USSR. |

Message | oh Im sorry when did western europe repeal its collective farming system ?, I'm sure we'd all benefit from comparing the countries under both systems . but more seriously collective farming has been shown to work under the right conditions , look at hungary for an example it outproduced france agriculturally even given the land difference. |

Message | Hungary also had one of the worlds largest foreign debts at the time. The fact is, the west totally outperformed the collective farms of the east. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
