Party Leader, The Party must take action to ensure that the Police can enforce the law. If a police officer armed with a non-lethal weapon has to subdue and arrest an armed criminal, the officer's life will be in danger. We must stop jeopardizing the lives of our officers, and further more we must empower our officers to defeat the criminal scum that live amongst us good Ibuthians. Ibutho is the home of the honorable, and we have no room for scum. Rafa Biyombo NRB Leader |

Message | Dear Party Leader, We could support the article one. After all, it is true that not having weapons can sometimes put our police officers in awkward situations. But the second one seems to us to unduly restrain the civil liberties. The police would choose what is a potential risk to public safety? Without very clear guidelines, which "the belief of our policemen" is certainly not, there is place to arbitrary arrestations. What if those arrested happen to be people who are voicing criticism toward the Party? This stance uselessly divide us by being unclear. Njabulo KaManelesi, Social-Liberal spokesperson on Justice |
