Bill: Age of Compulsory Education Act 3887

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 3888
Description[?]:
Currently, the age of compulsory education is set at a staggeringly high 21. We have before tried changing this to the age of 16 but have failed and as such for now, we will make a reasonable compromise by proposing that our nation lowers the age of compulsory education from 21 to the age of 18. |

Message | The Hutori National Party for the most part has no real stances but is rather very overtly attempting to mirror my positions so as to weaken the republican influence in our state. The HRA however opposes this because an educated populace is a successful, stable and well defended one. In the same manner that some would argue a period of national service is required, so is a period of education and preparation for a productive life. |

Message | Mr Speaker First of all me and my party would like to condemn the HNP for mirroring the HRA's stances and votes simply to steal votes off them, a party full of corrupt spoilt "politicians" we believe. And in response to the HRA's stance, we believe 21 is a ridiculously high age for compulsory education, education will still be available to those who want to and deserve to learn, it just won't be compulsory for those who don't. Also it will save taxpayers money and some people may just want to do a more basic job that do no require such a long education. 18 is a fair and sensible age for compulsory education, 21 is not. Education will still be available to those who want it post 18, it just shouldn't be mandatory. Tony Corbyn MP Leader of Choice |

Message | Corrupt and spolit? No, we simply believe that the Royalist left should eb represented in Parliament, rather than by the precious republican parties that currently operate in that space. |
