Bill: Reducing the Number of Laws, 3893

Details

Submitted by[?]: Borgerlig-Demokratiske Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 3894

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

we find it quite discriminatory that a modern liberal democracy like Kazulia requires laws that explicitly guarantee the right to things such as interracial marriage which should be taken for granted without having the state explicitly state it, as we have a general law that ensures that all consenting adults may get married, which surely applies to Kazulians of all kinds of ethnic backgrounds equally. The same applies to interracial sexual acts, systematic interpretation of the law would allow the conclusion that it is legal even without an explicit law.

We also believe that matters of morality, such as the question of adultery or crossdressing, should not be dealt with by the state but rather by the private parties affected by them: for example, couples should be able to determine autonomously whether their marriage contract ought to include an adultery clause, and citizens should be able to determine themselves whether they tolerate crossdressing on their property. This would greatly enhance individual freedom and strengthen the idea that the state should not legislate morality, which is an essential precondition for a free society.

MessageMr Speaker, this is bullshit,. if a person really love you, then he has no need for an aldury close, beside, adultery is not a bad thing, it is a civil right, youi have the right to engage a sexual relationship with who you want, not only with your hubsband, the libertarian wish to give right to some people to oppresse others. we disagree, we see no reason why a marriage contract should outlaw adultery.

Mr. Granlund, but out of our marriages

MessageMr Speaker,

we do not wish to give anyone the right to impose their values on others, just the chance to realize their ideas of morality consensually and autonomously outside of government-approved norms. If that includes precautions against adultery, then so be it. It will still require mutual consent by both spouses.

MessageMr Speaker,

This bill is a great initiative and a wonderful effort to put Kazulia on its track again. It is better to untouch social policies rather than officially allowing or banning what people can or can not do. We also demand a formal apology from the Hon. Lady Karlsson for using obscene language in our sacred Storting.

MessageMr. Speaker

There is nothing scared about this house, we are elected by people to represent them and to defend their interest, not the interest of a god.

This is clear a sad betreyal by the Labour of any left-wing principes.

our laws do not regualte morality, they regulate physical lives, and as long as actions does not cause physical harm to others, they should be legal, and I am very sorry to explain this, but Adultery does not cause physical harm to others, it should be legal. Now the government is destroying the laws, hoping the conservatives will get to impose their will on the weaks.

The government should protect the weak and tell what is good and what is not good. Not oppression them and not leaving them to themselves.

MessageMr Speaker,

Frankly, madam, you are not elected yet. And, you have the courage to say "there is nothing sacred about this house" or "why should we stick to such stupid parliamentary codes?". Great way to get into the Parliament, if you ask me.

But now, I am elected, and still don't even believe this bill is qualified to be garbage. it should be burned, just like we can burn the flag when we are very angry Kazulia government.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The moral life of this nation depends on the recognition in our laws of family values. Though we would support any move to remove the explicit approval of breaking the vows of marriage by adultery from the law, for the good of our families, this is the only case in which we, as a party, would agree with Mr. Granlund. Enshrining some fundamental principles including the equality of interracial marriages and of interracial sex is simply a statement of the values underpinning the state, without which freedom becomes atomistic.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Whereas we agree with the general principle behind this bill, we feel that crime victims would have an easier time with specific legal protections remaining in the criminal code. We will therefore oppose the bill.

MessageMr. Speaker, no one want the government to legislate on morality,

but Adultery is not a reason nor a crime in the eyes of the state, it is legal, since no one was hurt and that is the only important stance. If you commit no crime, you have the right to know that you did nothing wrong.
