Description[?]:
Maybe the parliament can explain why they vote agaisnt this law. This law does not force people to abandon their own religious belief, it won't force to not believe in the goddess. This law does not prevent prevent people with religious belief to have access to public service, this law simply require that people who work for the state bear no religious symbol and we already force it for public on politics, they can't wear political symbol because they promesses political independance, yet they don't need to promesse religious independance, I hope this change soon. Message | Mr. Speaker, It is an absolutely outlandish notion that wearing a cross under my clothing, or visibly for that matter, would in any way be offensive to the sensibilities of other citizens or compromise my political independence. It would be a different matter if I took to publicly wearing a FP membership card;. We may have a separation of church and state, but we shouldn't separate church and street. This tendency to banish religion outside of the public domain and confine it to the private home denies the positive impact it makes on our society on a daily basis. Back to the matter at hand. I do not see how a small crucifix can be made into such a big problem by Mrs. Danielsson. Hans-Peder Juel, FP Leader |

Message | Mr. Speaker it is a problem, because when you represent the state, when you work for the state, you should not represent a religion. it is that hard too understand, just remove your crucifix before working and put it back when you leave. We are not regulating what you wear on your clothes, but what you wear when you work for the state, so public employee, not political employee like us.
