Bill: Energy Nationalisation Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutori National Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 3899

Description[?]:

Given the leftwards drift of the legislature on economic policy we propose the creation of Hutori Power, a company that will gather together the nationalised energy companies currently in existence in Hutori to benefit the subject of the crown. At a stroke it will become the largest company in Makon and all profits will be used for the benefit of the consumer in Hutori.

MessageMr Speaker,

We will happily back this bill, corporations will undermine and scam the public, government run bodies will be able to regulate the industry and provide cheaper power.

While we don't agree with the government interfering with free enterprise we alsp recognize the need of having key utilities under Crown control. We tenatively offer our support.
