MessageIn order to support the aid designated for economic growth and infrastructure development aid package, we request that it is released in 4 batches, as well as an additional paragraph to state that aid can be withheld should the Malivian Government reverse its reforms or should it be discovered that funding has been embezzled, etc.

MessageWe would prefer to give latitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs rather than hamstring then with arbitrary rules. We will add a provision about embezzlement concerns.

MessageWe would like to remind the representatives that the Counsel is the main decision-making body of the Federal Republic. If the Counsel deems it necessary to implement a step-by-step release of aid and link it to reforms, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has to follow suit.

MessageThe Opposition has noted such. And the Head of State is making a request for flexibility amidst the ever-changing realm of politics, rather than waiting 8 months for a change if something were to bring cause to interrupt the schedule.

MessageUnfortunately, without guarantees of continued reform course we cannot support the allocation of Mordusian taxpayer's money.

MessageWe would support aid being distributed in batches. However since that doesn't seem to be the case we oppose

MessageThe Ministry has been in constant contact with the Malivian government and would obviously withdraw funds for any such instance. We are sorry to see the RPP vote against a bill that would lift punishing sanctions on a people who've already voted and implemented changes ranging from freer markets and banning the institution of slavery. They've also taken steps towards normalizing relations with a number of governments. The least we can do is offer a small development package after the years of near-tyranny in Malivia.

MessageOur position remains unchanged. Without the inclusion on bills that demand the continuation of reforms as a pre-condition on funding, as well as a step-by-step allocation of these funds, we are forced to vote no.

MessageTaking into account the sensitivity of the matter and continuous efforts of some members of the ARP to use this vote to attack the RPP, we have decided to change our vote. We will support the aid package to Malivia, but monitor the developments closely.
