Bill: June 3900 Proposal for the Fourth National Party Cabinet

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social-Liberal Caucus

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3901

Description[?]:

After a consultative process which take more time than expected, here is our last proposal for a Cabinet.

We would still like to have an idea of which mininsters would interest each faction, and we will make our own.

MessageDear colleages,

Thank you for this information. We will just remind that our first offers included everyone. They were rejected because Preservation didn't show up. We tried again, removing those who didn't want to participate, but mistook the Sezenhlalo Caucus silence for the situation Preservation seems to be in. When finally the Sezenhlalo Caucus talked, they accused us of trying to govern alone, to exclude them.

Now, we are trying to find a deal with the socialists. If they do not even propose something reasonnable in exchange from the finances while they are the last faction in the Ikomidi, we will know what to do.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
