Message | We had it at 750 because we wanted better representation of the people. Meaning, that if there are 100 people representing 100,000, then 1 senator represents 1000 people. However, if we have 1000 senators, 1 representative represents 100 people, which better makes up the population and the needs of the population. you follow? |

Message | plus, it gets rid or minimizes some of the "fuzz" of elections. Meaning, that a party could get 13.9% of the vote but only get 13% of the seats. now that I have fully slammed direct democracy, I agree with you El Dorado. I would rather the size be at 100 so that we could do easy calculations of the senate and how bills can pass. plus, a little fuzz in elections makes for fun. =P |

Message | The more representation, the better.... I don't like a reduction. |

Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction." - Charles R.
