Message | Mr Speaker, this bill will inflict great harm on many sectors who depend on foreign imports to a great deal. It will also hurt consumers by increasing prices on many goods from abroad. Our economy cannot shut itself off from the global market without harming to itself. Autarchy is a myth, we should focus on specialization instead to remain competitive. Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
