An act recognising that multiple religions exist within the nation, and that the endorsement of any religion is the rejection of all others, and that a democratic government is one which best represents all peoples of it's constituency, and that thus government cannot conduct, endorse, condone or encourage the proliferation or persecution of any religion. Details: 1. Article 4's restrictions on prayer in schools applies only to schools run by the government. |

Their implementation has flip-flopped for centuries depending on which party is in power. Their current presence is only due to a recent right-wing government. The 'tradition' is an entirely artificial one. |
