Bill: Public Transport Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Liberal Alliance
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2172
Description[?]:
We believe that people who use public transport should make a contribution to the costs of running it. We favour only subsidising the cost for those on low incomes, but because of disagreement and because we concede that government should make it attractive for people to use public transport for environmental and congestion reasons, we propose that the government continue subsidising the cost of public transport, but with user making a contribution. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Funding of public transport (where applicable).
Old value:: Public transport is fully subsidised by the government.
Current: Public transport is fully subsidised by the government.
Proposed: Public transport is partially subsidised with the remainder "user-pays".
