Message | Thank you Parliament. I feel all schools should be equal. Having religious schools is similar to having separate schools for black and white children in the United states back in the 60s. Schools are places of learning. Churches and other religious structures are places for prayer and religious teachings. I commend this bill to Parliament. |

Message | M. Speaker, This is an excellent bill, and will be supported by the ECA. Deborah Adams, Minister of Education and Culture |

Message | M. Speaker, This bill is an assault on all of religion. If this bill passes Shadowist teachers will leave their post, and their will be a mass shortage of teachers. Religious schools are not about segregation, they are about choice. If parent's wish their kids to go to a religious school, that is their choice and the state should keep their noses out of it. Furthermore, if the ECA support this bill, they will be in clear breach of our coalition agreement: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=448341 The ECA has agreed to support religious schools, and if they renege on their agreement we will see it as an act of betrayal against The Court. We suggest that the ECA reconsider their position on both ideological and political grounds. Nor Argle, Court of Shade's Education Spokesperson |

Message | OCC: Also you shouldn't be bringing in references to RL in the debate. 1960s America doesn't exist in Terra. If you want to reference history you should reference Lodamun's or Terra's history. |

Message | M. Speaker, Nor Argle is mistaken. The coalition agreement stated that the ECA would have to support THAT bill. It did not state that we would have to support any subsequent bills. Robyn Bruce Leader of the ECA |

Message | M. Speaker, This bill in effect repeals part of the bill that our agreement was based on. But rather than argue technicalities, I'll make this very clear to Mr Bruce: Vote yes on this bill and The Court will consider that the ECA has withdrawn from the agreement. We will not support an ECA president or cabinet that will ruin the education system, for a petty war on religion. I would highly suggest the ECA abstain or vote No on this bill. Message | M. Speaker, I accept Ms. Bird's proposal. Also, for future reference to all parties, I am a woman. Robyn Bruce Leader of the ECA |

Message | M. Speaker I'm very pleased to hear Mrs Bruce's well thought out decision. Sophia Bird Queen of Shades. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
