Bill: Criminal Voting Rights Act of 3917

Details

Submitted by[?]: Luthori National Union Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 3918

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

The fact that hardened criminals can step out of a jail one day and vote the next is a travesty of democracy. Criminals should only have their rights fully returned upon showing that they have made a commitment to legal behavior and integration back into society.

I yield.

MP for Utagia
Leader of the LNUP

We wholeheartedly support this extremely sensible proposal. We have proposed this decades ago but at the time was not passed, we are glad that this proposal has gained such support.
