Message | Mr Speaker, This is a fair tax system, where everyone pays a low amount of money to the government and where the government is still able to keep up its spending habits. I know that normally this is the job of the minister of finance, but his offer was insufficiënt and after the cabinet lost its majority, I hope the majority will support this bill. |

Message | Mr Speaker, Despite the government has lost its majority, the Progressives do not intend to form another majority government to preserve political stability. |

Message | More importantly, this tax proposal is regressive and ignores the problem of economic inequality. If the bill is passed, great burden will be placed upon the poor while the rich and the billionaires will get a 48% bailout. |

Message | Do you know what's fair? It's fair that everyone is being treated equally by the government and so it should be. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The Progressives do not believe that taxing people who desperately need the tax dollars and those who put it in their billion-dollar spare change chest for the same rate of income is at all fair. |
