Description[?]:
================================ THE INVESTIGATION: ================================ - Finance Minister Michael Bird, was shot while visiting the Eastern Metropolitan District, at midday 10th July. The only piece of evidence left at the scene was the murder weapon (a sniper rifle) with no DNA evidence, but fingerprint evidence. - The official reasons given for this visit was to meet with business leaders of Lodamun. - However, subsequent investigation of Mr Bird’s emails and phone records revealed that the reason for this visit was to meet with a source/sources who claimed to have evidence of the disappearance of the Manganji Shadow Alliance (SA) Caucus in 3890. - This would indicate the assassination was an attempt to prevent the release of the information. - As the disappearance of the SA caucus had major political ramifications, police interviewed high profile politicians. Only members of the Eastern Central Alliance (ECA) refused to co-operate with police. - In follow up interviews with witnesses on the scene, 5 witnesses identified Andrew Waterhouse leaving the scene of the crime. - Search warrants were then issued by High Court Judge David Darren, for senior members of the ECA. - Police found emails on the computers of Jeff Greene, Pamela Osbourne, and Andrew Waterhouse detailing a conspiracy to murder Mr Bird, in order to supress information on “Operation Doodlebug”. - Operation Doodlebug was revealed to be an ECA planned and implemented operation to kidnap President Takeshi Manganji to install an ECA president. Furthermore the operation would kidnap all members of the SA to ensure ECA dominance in Parliament. Police Investigation on Operation Doodlebug is ongoing. - The conspiracy outlined Mr Waterhouse performing the act, and Mr Greene and Mrs Osbourne using their positions to protect Mr Waterhouse. - Police have arrested Mr Greene for Conspiracy to Commit Murder, and Accessory to Murder. If found guilty Mr Greene could be sentenced to Life Without Parole. - Police wish to arrest Mrs Osbourne for Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Accessory to Murder. If found guilty Mrs Osbourne would be subject to the same sentence, but has parliamentary immunity. - Police wish to arrest Mr Waterhouse for Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Accessory to Murder and Treason. If found guilty Mr Waterhouse could be sentenced to death. However, Mr Waterhouse has Parliamentary Immunity. ============================================ Article 1: Immunity ============================================ -Mrs Osborne’s and Mr Waterhouse’s Parliamentary immunity is revoked, until a subsequent resolution returns it. =========================================== Article 2: Supreme Court Hearing =========================================== - The trial of Mr Greene, Mrs Osborne and Mr Waterhouse shall be heard together at a hearing of the Supreme Court. - The composition of the Supreme Court for this trial shall be (as determined by this bill: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=388913) CoS = 29 LNP = 19 UDHFU = 13 ECA = 12 NALD = 2 Total = 75 Guilty Verdict Requires 38/75 votes. |

Message | M. Speaker, This is absolutely absurd! Everything said here is an absolute falsehood. Are the police able to provide any of this so-called evidence? NO, because it simply does not exist. This is corruption of the highest order and a gross miscarriage of justice. I hoped it wouldn't come to this, but I will now disclose an email that my office received some time ago. If I had known then that this was actually going to happen, I would have released this earlier. This whole situation is absolutely disgusting. I also sincerely hope the CoS have read this; http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=57&p=92540#p92540 Andrew Waterhouse Leader of the ECA Date 00:33:03, October 12, 2015 CET From Court of Shades To Eastern-Central Alliance Email: To: ECA Leader Andrew Waterhouse From: Anonymous Internal Affairs Staffer Subject: CoS Conspiracy. You didn't hear this from me, but Internal Affairs Garion Darkly is using the Lodamun Intelligence Agency to frame the ECA for the assassination of Micheal Bird. Do what you will with this information. END |

Message | Mr Speaker, If Mr Waterhouse believed his claims, he would have no fear of the courts. If the police cannot provide any of this evidence, then the Supreme Court will find him Not Guilty. Perhaps, Mr Waterhouse should provide his fingerprints to the Police so they can verify that his prints are not on the murder weapon? As for Mr Waterhouse's theory that this is corruption, and that the Minister of Internal Affairs is setting him up.... All I have to ask is: Why? -Why would the CoS do that? -Why would the CoS frame their political allies over any of their political enemies? -Why would the CoS frame their allies, when all both Ms Birds want is justice for their brother? -Why would the CoS let the real killer go free? It makes absolutely no sense to for the Court of Shades to frame the ECA, and I assure Mr Waterhouse that we sincerely hope that he had nothing to do with this tragedy. The Court of Shades caucus has been devastated by the news that this could of been caused by our long-standing friends, and many of us still have hope that this is a big misunderstanding. The only way to know for sure though is take it to court, and show that the evidence doesn't stack up. Nor Argle Court of Shades Senior Whip |

Message | M. Speaker, It is very odd and arrogant that the Cos still regard the ECA as allies despite unleashing this hell upon us and seemingly abandoning the long standing alliance in favour of the UDHFU who are Lodamese Nationalists. I am saddened at how quickly the CoS have acted to abandon their principles. I demand that a robust investigation takes place to expose the corruption at the hands of Garion Darkly. Pamela, Jeff and I will be found innocent, that I have no doubt of. What I do doubt is how on earth this friendship could possibly be repaired. We at the ECA are flawed by the cold and calculated nature of this deep betrayal. It is very clear that with the very tragic disappearance of the Shadow Alliance, the party's conscience disappeared with it. Andrew Waterhouse Leader of the ECA |

Message | M. Speaker. My party has decided to vote against this motion. My party believes in a fair trial and when it comes to criminal proceedings, there should be a unanimous verdict on behalf of the jury. No one has been declared guilty and therefore it would in appropriate to comment on fellow members of this Parliament in a criminal investigation. If this investigation must proceed to trial by the supreme court, my party believes that the composition of the jury must not include the defending party or the party to which the late Mr Bird was from. In addition, for a guilty verdict to be carried, then we feel it must be unanimous. Nicola Salmond MP Leader of the Opposition, Parliament of Lodamun Deputy Leader, Lodamun National Party |

Message | Mr Speaker, My party agrees with the LNP in this situation, we would prefer it if both the CoS and the ECA did not have their appointed judges sitting on the Supreme Court at this time. This would be highly inappropriate as both parties have a personal stake in the matter. However, to make this modification, Parliament would need to pass a resolution that has a super-majority, as this would require going around constitutional law. Furthermore, it would be inappropriate for the Court of Shades to propose such modifications, as we would be seen as interfering with the trial which would make it invalid. That being said, if the LNP creates a separate resolution with their proposals the Court of Shades will support them. Nor Argle Court of Shades Chief Whip |
