MessageMr Spreker,

The NDA's moderate economic policies has guided Saridan through much of this century, and a good portion of last century. We will continue to support a supporting role of government in the economy, and the use of government subsidies. We will continue to fight for laborers and the common man.

Our roots as an agrarian party still very much influence our economic policy. We still believe agriculture to be a more virtuous profession than industry, and will continue to fight for the economic interests of Saridani farmers.

We will maintain our support of UDCs as they are a stabilizing force for our economy. We ask the SNP to include it's stance on UDCs, and the subsidies we have provided to UDCs in recent years, in their response.
(OOC: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Boerestaat#Union_Distribution_Companies This is a description of UDCs, they are a unique concept me and mid introduced not too long ago)

When reading the wiki it would be helpful to read the whole boerestaat economy part, it is not long and it will be helpful to understanding the UDCs.

He NDA are lying. What they are actually doing is ensuring that if you do not work, you get off scot free. This is dangerous. If you work hard, surely you should be paid more. I ask the NDA, if you support the farmers, why haven't you introduced your policies over the last 100 years?

The SNP supports UDC's, but we want to regulate them. To an extent they work, but they also can help people not work. We need to give people incentives to work.

MessageMr spreker,

We have promoted the economic interests of farmers for the past 100 years, and we wonder why the SNP would question that.

The SNP has said that we "help people not work" but that is not true. We will provide more jobs through public works projects, and the NDA also supports welfare reform. Our welfare system should be reformed so that many of its resources are used to help find people jobs.

We would like to ask the SNP how they plan to "get people to work"?

My point is, you support the farmers, but what about everyone else? What about the businessmen, the fast food worker, the engineer? You may have given these people their jobs, but you certainly haven't helped them when they got them, which has put more people off work.

You want to know what I want to do? I want to increase the minimum wage so people can get paid more, I want to eliminate the salary cap, which bosses are using against their employees. I also want to eliminate the essential tax, easing the burden on working families.

Random fact: Moderation reserves the discretion to declare RP laws invalid if the players supporting them are doing so in an excessively confrontational way.
