Message | Mr speaker, First of all we don't agree with article 2, but article 3 is the real problem here. We've more than 7 parties, some who's visibility is more than clear almost have no seats (Progressives, Libertarian Party). Article 3 will risk that some parties have no say anymore of what happens in this chamber, they will have no seats anymore. I think we undermine the real democracy where people, shouldn't matter how small the group, can vote on their political parties without risking the fact that it has no seats. We won't vote for the bill with article 3 in it, if anything the number of seats should be raised, and article 2. Nicklaus Romero Chairman of LP |
