Bill: National Brotherhood for Prosperity Speaks Out Against New Government (RP)

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Brotherhood for Prosperity

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3972

Description[?]:

The National Brotherhood for Prosperity Chairman Richard Hall said the following on National Television last night.

"The current coalition is terrible. Good parties such as the Devolutionists and Libertarians have gone into government with leftists like the REWP. The REWP is a terrible party that seeks to turn our great nation of Rutania into a socialist hellhole. Their socialist and environmentalist policies, if implemented, will run our nation into the ground.

For this reason I see no choice but for the NBP to prepare for a Tax strike. Most of the largest corporations in our nation work with the NBP, and if certain demands are not met we will organize a universal corporate tax strike in which all corporations will refuse to pay their corporate tax. As long as this new coalition does not impose any socialist economic policies on the people of this nation, the the Tax Strike will not happen. But if the REWP, the progressives, or the communists manage to pass a socialist bill, like the 'Economic Fairness Act', the strike will happen."

Political Scientists and economists warn about the damage a tax strike like this would have. The national budget would fall into deficit, and the resulting conflict between the government and corporations would be ugly.

The UN Agree's with the NBP, the left have taken over and action must be taken. We are deploying 15,000 Paramilitaries as we speak to the homes of UN Cabinet members and towns, if things do not change we will be forced to undergo severe actions.

MessageThe RDP have since released a brief statement underlining their intent to work with local governments which support them in deploying the local police forces, using their devolved powers to areas, which have large bases of support for right wing parties. They were quoted as saying this measure would last until the current political conflict is brought to a resolution.

MessageMr Speaker,

The government does not have to worry about violence from the NBP. If we want to attack the government it will be through peaceful measures like the tax strike.

MessageMr Speaker,

The Progressives hope that the NBP may respect democracy and the fact that all proposed bills are voted by the democratically elected Parliament and no decision is against the will of the Rutanians in general. We hope that the NBP would stop such illegal and unreasonable calls.
