Description[?]:
The National Brotherhood for Prosperity Chairman Richard Hall said the following on National Television last night. "The current coalition is terrible. Good parties such as the Devolutionists and Libertarians have gone into government with leftists like the REWP. The REWP is a terrible party that seeks to turn our great nation of Rutania into a socialist hellhole. Their socialist and environmentalist policies, if implemented, will run our nation into the ground. For this reason I see no choice but for the NBP to prepare for a Tax strike. Most of the largest corporations in our nation work with the NBP, and if certain demands are not met we will organize a universal corporate tax strike in which all corporations will refuse to pay their corporate tax. As long as this new coalition does not impose any socialist economic policies on the people of this nation, the the Tax Strike will not happen. But if the REWP, the progressives, or the communists manage to pass a socialist bill, like the 'Economic Fairness Act', the strike will happen." Political Scientists and economists warn about the damage a tax strike like this would have. The national budget would fall into deficit, and the resulting conflict between the government and corporations would be ugly. |
