Message | Having an intricate knowledge of your enemy's weapons that only its manufacturers know, including their weaknesses and counter-measures can be very useful, as can the income! Plus we can use their ammunition and parts if they're using our exports. |

Message | OK let me break this down for the slow people of the rights. A. We invest heaviliy in our foreign intelligence we will know the spects of their weaponary anyways. B. Knowing the spects isn't all that useful. Knowing that a gun shooting at you is going to kill you isn't all that useful. If it is useful they have the same advantage we do because they too have the spects of our weaponry. Ever hear of reverse engineering? C. What would stop our enemies from buy limited amounts of our arms simply to study them if such intelligence did in fact confer an advantage. D. Relying upon our enemies for ammunition production seems a tad short sighted. |

Message | We don't rely on them, we just take advantage when we capture their stuff. That's why the Red Army used 82mm mortars: they could use our 81mm rounds in their 82mm tubes, but we couldn't fit their 82mm rounds down our 81mm tubes. Besides I was talking about high-tech weaponry. Do you think the British would have sabotaged Argentine Exocets so easily if they'd been supplied by the Soviets instead of the French? Lives could have been saved if only they'd been supplied by the British and we didn't have to go through the French Gov't to get the info. |

Message | Reverse engineering? Heard of that? Any advantage we would gain would be equally conferred upon our enemies. Why is it you think real nations don't sell high tech weaponry to their enemies? We can take advantage of captured weaponry w/out selling it to them. |

Message | Export models are always of inferior value, giving our troops an advantage over any enemy using Luthori manufactured weapons. An advantage we don't get if they buy from someone else or make their own. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
