Message | Mr Speaker, we should not put our brave officers at risk by denying them effective means of law enforcement and forcing them to confront cold-blooded criminals with "non-lethal weapons". The proper handling of firearms should not be restricted to "specially trained firearms units" but must be an essential part of any policeman's education in the first place if we truly want to bolster national security. Message | Mr. Speaker, For once, we actually agree with our colleagues in Frisinnede Venstre. Crippling the capabilities of our police officers to effectively respond to any situation will endanger both our law enforcement and our citizens. Sofie Heimstad Deputy of the NLU |
