| We are putting forward a budget proposal in response to changes in some legislation: Head of Government: Salaries of the Prime Minister and officials in the office have been reduced. Some responsibilities from the Head of Government should be transferred over to ministries. Foreign Affairs: Increased spending to accommodate for broader foreign relations (i.e. disaster relief efforts, embassy maintenance etc.) Internal Affairs: Increased spending to equip the police and immigration departments with the necessary funding to perform their jobs. Defence: Unchanged Justice: Decreased spending, accounting for the increase in the Internal Affairs ministry and smaller judiciary size. Infrastructure and Transport: Decreased spending due to privatisation of various infrastructure projects. Health and Social Services: No change. Education and Culture: Increased spending to ensure that our children have a better education, and our people become more cultured. Science and Technology: Increased spending as money is put into investing in new technologies. Food and Agriculture: Decreased spending as subsidies to farmers are cut, agricultural services have been privatised. Environment and Tourism: Decreased spending in lieu of shift in funds to Science and Technology and privatisation of various services in the Tourism sector. Trade and Industry: Decreased spending due to lesser government intervention in T&I. If there are any suggestions, please feel free. We'll try and make a compromise. |

| Message | We do not agree with the reduction in trade and industry budget or the reduction of food and agriculture. We should have contingency plans in place in case of the need to help workers/farmers in difficult times. |

| Message | At this point, the budget is in preparation for a normal year ahead without any mishaps. The reduced food and agricultural budget is mainly due to the denial of subsidy assistance to farmers. Nonetheless, we will take that into consideration. |
