Bill: Trade Union Establishment Act 3929

Details

Submitted by[?]: Choice

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 3929

Description[?]:

Currently, trade unions are illegal and no in use. However we strongly believe that trade unions are necessary to protect the rights of workers. We do acknowledge that some think certain trade unions are corrupt, thus we propose a compromise. We propose that there should only be GOVERNMENT-RUN trade unions (for every work sector/type) to ensure there are trade unions protecting workers however they are fully run by the state, thus making sure they only act in necessary and fair ways.

MessageMr Speaker,

I do not care! I promised the people that i would rid the earth of these "idiotic" organisations to create a better society.

Trade unions are known for putting that big noise of theirs in places it shouldn't even be. They complain about the littlest of things and then say look we're going on strike as government is unfair!

Without trade unions, there is no one to stand up for workers when they are being treated poorly by their employer. With Trade Unions only being government run institutions, it ensures they are run more smoothly and thus only act when truly necessary as opposed to getting overly and unfairly "salty" about things, and only strike when needed.

MessageMr Speaker,

The Government stand up for the average worker! " run more smoothly" Blackmailing people to vote for strikes isn't my idea of things running smoothly! With Unions people are pressured into following the crowd. They Strike more than needed, it has become a joke how many times they strike!

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
