| Prologue: The Telamon parties have insulted our nation, and basically threatened war if we "don't comply". We find this attitude disgraceful, and unwarranted. Out of disquest to these insults, we demand that the Telamon-Davostan relations to be disbanded, we will not be seen as eachothers ally, but neutral nations. Your government is tiny, and your financial unit is much less valuable than ours. We have a much larger military, and we might protect you if you would like. The Federal Republic of Davostan, the Federal Republic of Hutori, and Telamons Förenta Stater are these countries. We have various treaties and agreements and trade deals among us, and we feel that these deals are not beneficial for us. Members of the legislature are considering withdrawal from these bad deals for a variety of reasons. First off, these deals are complicated and bureaucratic by nature. Second off, we feel like our defence budget is too large in comparison to the other nations. These nations will force us to provide military support for countries that are attacked because of our treaties. All the nations have a similar budget size (because of how the exchange rate works), and here is the percent of each budget that is focussed on defence: Telamons Förenta Stater: 48% Federal Republic of Davostan: 2% Federal Republic of Hutori: 18% It is evident that Telamons Förenta Stater has the largest military, and it's not even close. We should withdraw from all foreign relations with these countries unless they provide us with services that benefit us. Your countries will become defenceless in these dangerous times, and we fear that you will suffer. We do not plan on ending our imperialism and military strength, as it gives us strength around Terra. Beware, though, respond to our nation's message feed and to our Minister of Defence and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as we need to negotiate. You will be vulnerable to terrorists, and we are okay with that if you aren't benefiting us in way. |
