MessageThe reason is that:
A- The economy is suffering from this
B- There are people that can pay for their transportation in this country
C- It is fully paid for for the ones that cant afford it.

Now give me a reason against it?

MessageWhile people may be able to afford public transportation, the issue here is that we want to PROMOTE public transportation.

If 30 people decide that free public transportation is a good thing, then that's one bus shuttling those people around. If they decide that driving a car doesn't cost much more than public transportation and is more convenient for them, then that's 30 cars on the road polluting our air.

MessageA: prove it
B and C: the LSP puts it already on the table: the choice is about priorities: maybe the free transport STIMULATES people of using it, and letting their car in the garage. Probably the DSF wants our roads again full of stinking private cars

MessageA- Look at the budget, last time i checked we were 67,000,000,000 below or something like that.

I support this bill when there is an economy that can allow for it, but currently our fiscal situation is in no place to give the entire populace a free ride. When the economy comes back and we are in the black, we will re-enact this bill.
