Bill: The Free Market Coalition

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Brotherhood for Prosperity

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 3933

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

This coalition consists of sensible parties that believe in the free market. This cabinet contains no radicals, and is the best option for Rutanian success. I hope all included parties support this, if there is any change that you would like to see let us know.

The number of cabinet spots was determined by percentage of seats held.

MessageMr Speaker,

We would like the NBP to observe the previous agreement of letting the largest party propose a cabinet coalition. Unless the Rutanian Devolution Party agrees, we think that this bill should be withdrawn for now

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "A leader has the vision and conviction that a dream can be achieved. He inspires the power and energy to get it done." - Ralph Nader
