| Prologue: Wanted to iron out what the government setup should be and how it should properly function. So this discussion will be on how the perfect government should be displayed and setup as. Topics: Government - This should be the party or coalition of parties that have been agreed to be in power by the people. The largest party is deemed the government unless a coalition of parties proposes their own government formation, that the senate approves of. Opposition - This should be the party or parties responsible in ensuring that the government stays in check in every move. Making sure to challenge the government whenever it can and providing a reasonable moral, philosophical and people connection. Opposition Leadership - This is the position that controls the opposition. They're the largest party in the opposition and will control the opposition and be the main force against the government. Cabinet - The government department seats which are held by the government. The opposition will elect their own cabinet called the "Opposition Cabinet", which will be to show the opposition would setup their cabinet if they were in charge. For a coalition government to form, the coalition must propose their own government cabinet after an election. Parties - Roles - Head of Government role - In charge of assembling the parties in the legislative house, and keeping firm control of the house. Helping the Head of State where he or she can in position. And to be the Head of States right-hand man in situations of extreme. Can only be chaired by the government. Head of State role - The official head of the state, the recognised leader of the nation. He or she will be tasked with ensuring diplomatic relations and missions alongside the Foreign Affairs minister in the government, keeping the party leaders in check and providing the people with support if necessary. | Message | But what about an opposition that can challenge the government? They'll still have authority to vote yes or no, create laws. But the opposition is meant to provide a challenge to the government. Including every party in a coalition can be worse, because it means that a Communist and Capitalist can be included, and they won't want to be in a coalition together. |
