Message | Mr. Speaker, There have been numerous studies showing that cannabis is either on the same level or even less harmful than alcohol. Alcohol is currently legal and regulated, so why not cannabis? I yield. |

Message | Cannabis is not harmful in the sense that it endangers lives because it has less damaging ramifications than alcohol abuse. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Actually, studies have shown marijuana is harmful and causes long-term or even permanent damage. Marijuana is addictive, can lead to an increased heart rate, difficulty breathing, paranoia, schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. Pregnant mothers who take marijuana may increase brain and behavioral problems in their children. Because we in the Progressive Conservative Party want a drug-free country with an actual future ahead of us, we will vote no. I implore other parties to evaluate the consequences of this drug and weigh the decisions for themselves. Message | Mr. Speaker, We hold the position that Marijuana is not chemically addictive. We also believe that cannabis should be legal and regulated so we can keep it out of the hands of children. Meanwhile keeping it illegal will only further increase the power that the Deltarian mafia and other criminal elements currently hold over drugs in this country. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
