Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, We believe that the legislature should elect a Speaker and that the people should elect a President. Richard Hall NBP Chairman _________________________________________________________________________________________ ADDED CLAUSE POWERS OF THE SPEAKER I. The Speaker will chair the cabinet and will help to ensure that bills are moving through the house smoothly. II.The Speaker will preside over all discussions on the house floor. III. The Speaker will set a legislative agenda upon his election and will work to ensure that his agenda is passed. IV. The Speaker will also hold all powers of a head of government and will have the flexibility to exercise these powers as he pleases. _________________________________________________________________________________________ OOC: When I say "all power of a head of government" I mean all the powers that the game mechanics grant to the HOG. I kind of just fused the Libertarians and the Alternatives ideas and added the speaker position. |
