Under the current laws, no one under the age of 18 is allowed to seek employment. Additional regulations: 1) Minors no younger than age 12 may perform part-time, non-operator agricultural work that is not classified as hazardous for no less than the federal minimum wage. Hours may not exceed 20 on a school week, or 40 on a non-school week. 2) Minors no younger than age 15 may perform all non-industrial and any commercial and agricultural work not classified as hazardous for no less than the federal minimum wage. Hours restrictions are the same. |
