MessageMr. Speaker,

This violates the religious conscience of the people of this country. Homosexuality is a sin and our government should not be allowing these kinds of acts to occur.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Almost half of the country are secular according to polls. Regardless, of the religious affiliation that your party subscribes to do you not believe in separation of church and state?

Sexual orientation is nobody's business.

MessageMr. Speaker,

A national characteristic of this nation is state intervention and involvement in the Church. We do not believe in the separation of Church and State. Perhaps the gentleman from the Reform Party will prefer a cold, heartless, secular nation such as... say Kalistan?

MessageMr. Speaker,

The role of the Church in the state is largely ceremonial and has been for quite some time. If you do not believe in the separation of church and state, then we await the inevitable proposal the you will propose that Luthorians should start wearing religious badges to identify their faith.

Your party is advocating an end to democracy. Excuse me? I was born here in Luthori, raised in the countryside of Orange. Do not tell me I should pack my bags like your former gutless leader Buckley did. I will fight, and continue to fight because that's what a true Luthorian does.

I yield,

Steven Bond

MessageMr. Speaker,

I am sure that the average, hardworking middle class Luthori worker can relate to the millionaire Steven Bond who lives in extravagance while some on this country remain without jobs or basic needs. He can make slanderous comments about me as much as he likes, but he should not denigrate the history and culture of this country.

MessageMr Speaker,

I think we can all agree that the Progressive Conservatives are showing themselves to be anything but progressive by voting against this proposal.

The people of Luthori will punish them for it.

I yield,
