MessageOutrageous move by the DNF to repeal legislation that was passed so recently, that appeared to receive approval and granted a mandate by the people of Davostan at the last election with the DLP's subsequent victory.

All these pieces of legislation expand the right of the individual and ensure maximum economic and social liberties for the people of Davostan. Copyright is simply another reason for the state to exercise control over the economy. By removing copyright, you allow for individuals to compete - if someone takes another's idea, improves upon and makes sales then that is far better for the economy and for the consumer. It simply allows individual, nay - empowers individuals to strive for greater economic success in the free market. It only benefits consumers, business-minded individuals and the greater economy.

Shame on the DNF.

MessageAnd what happens if that same person does fuck all with the invention, ideal, whatever? They just sell it as it already is? This is unfair to the person who did invent it.

MessageWell, as in a capitalist marketplace, consumers get to decide - not the state. They won't purchase it it isn't superior.

MessageBy removing copyright laws, which are very restrictive, it incentivises both parties to work hard to innovate. Thus, consumers are benefited.

Random quote: "Those who are responsible for the national security must be the sole judges of what the national security requires. It would be obviously undesirable that such matters should be made the subject of evidence in a court of law or otherwise discussed in public." - Unattributed member of the the House of Lords on the removal of trade union rights
